Terms and Conditions

- 1. The Cadbury 'Monster Joy' competition is open to everyone residing in South Africa except employees of Cadbury South Africa (Pty) Limited (the "Promoter"), their merchandisers, advertising, promotional and PR agencies and all their immediate families.
- 2. Entry to the competition is through purchasing a single 90/g100g or 180g/200g Cadbury slab and entering the barcode to the USSD line.
- 3. To do this, dial *120*CADBURY#. (By this we mean, type *120*2232879#) You do not SMS this number. You type the number into your phone and press the call/ dial button. You will then be prompted to enter the last 4 digits of the barcode on your Cadbury slab into the system.
- 4. Variants valid for entry are: Dairy Milk, Wholenut, Fruit & Nut, Caramel, Cashew & Coconut, Top Deck, Mint Crisp, Rum & Raisin, Snack, Fruit, Biscuit, Mousse, Turkish. Please note: No other Cadbury products are eligible.
- 5. The Promoter will not be responsible for any non-delivery of entries.
- 6. Each USSD interaction is charged at standard rates. This amounts to 20c (twenty cents) per 30 seconds. Free minutes do not apply.
- 7. The competition runs from 1 April 2010 to 31 July 2010. No entries received after 31 July 2010 will be accepted.
- 8. All first time entrants will be further prompted to choose their favourite radio station from the participating radio stations.
- 9. Each week, 5 finalists will be selected per radio station, by random selection for each region. From the 5 finalists, 1 winner will be selected by a panel of judges and announced on air on the Friday. The rest of the finalists will receive hampers. This happens 6 times (i.e. once a week for 6 weeks) on each radio station.
- a. The total cash prize value is R1 Million.
- b. Each of the 4 participating radio stations has a total of R250 000 to give away.
- c. The selected entrant for the Friday on-air promotional moment will be given a cash prize for themselves as well as a cash prize (of the same denomination) to someone of their choice (i.e. R10 000 for themselves and R10 000 for whomever they choose). They will be required to phone that person live on-air and award them their prize.
- d. The Promoter, its agencies, and the radio station cannot be held responsible for who the winner chooses.
- e. The Promoter will only give the cash prize to the on-air "caller" and whoever that "caller" nominates live on-air.
- f. The prize breakdown per station is: 2x R70 000; 4x R5 000; 4x R10 000; 2x R20 000. Each station will also receive R10 000 to donate to whomever they see fit.
- g. Winners will be contacted telephonically, within 7 days of the Friday on-air promotional moment by a Cadbury representative.
- h. All winners must provide valid bank account details.
- i. Once winners have been notified, if (for any reason) Cadbury cannot contact the winners for a period longer than 14 (fourteen) working days and no prior arrangements (for example, alternative contact details) have been made by the winner with Cadbury, the prize may be forfeited and a new winner may be drawn at Cadbury's sole discretion.
- 10. The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- 11. Cadbury cannot take responsibility for network delays, transfer delays or damage sustained in transit.
- 12. All prizes are not transferable and may not be converted into cash.
- 13. Cadbury may collect, store and use (not share) personal information of entrants for communication or statistical purposes.
- 14. By participating in this competition the winner agrees to publication of his/her name and photographs for promotional and official purposes at no additional cost to the Promoter. Winners may have their names and photographs placed in any publication Cadbury chooses. This is at the discretion of Cadbury and no correspondence will be entered into.
- 15. Winner's details will be posted onto the Cadbury website (www.cadbury.co.za).
